Mt. Airy/Chestnut Hill Chapter
The Mt. Airy/Chestnut Hill Chapter assists nursing moms in various sections of Philadelphia and vicinity to include: Chestnut Hill, East Falls, Erdenheim, Fox Chase, Germantown, Lafayette Hill, Logan, Manayunk, Mt. Airy, Nicetown, Oak Lane, Oreland, Roxborough, Wadsworth, West Park, and Wyndmoor.
2011 Support meetings beginning in April:
The first Thursday of each month from 10-11:30am.
Location: The Little Treehouse, 10 W. Gravers Lane in Chestnut Hill. Please note: there is a small fee for children over the age of one (normal rate is $7, but we will pay a discounted rate of $4).
Wear it Again Event on Saturday, January 28th, 2012!
This event will benefit our Mt Airy/Chestnut Hill Chapter.
Where is Wear it Again? At the Holiday Inn in Fort Washington PA (432 West Pennsylvania Ave., Ft. Washington, PA 19034). When is Wear it Again? Saturday, January 28th 2012 from 8PM-11PM
What is the cost to Wear it Again? $45.00 per person (includes two hours of open bar, one hour cash bar — make sure to eat a hearty meal before you arrive and be ready to dance the night away)
What To Wear to Wear it Again? Your wedding dress, a bridesmaids dress, formal black tie gown that’s gathering dust. If your wedding dress is just not going to fit or you don’t want to wear it, you could also visit the David’s Bridal $99 event (going on now through Nov. 21!!) to purchase a dress for the evening and will then donate it at the end of the night. We plan to accept gown donations at the end of the night and will take them to a local charity for resale to brides in need (we also plan to provide receipts for this for tax purposes) and also plan to have gown preservation options available for those of you who want to go that route. If you don’t want to don a wedding dress, there are plenty of women wearing non-bridal gowns, so you surely will not be alone!

- Send an email at WIA@swoonstylehome.com with your name, birthdate (sorry, event is open only to those 21 years of age and older) and telephone number. Please put “REGISTER” in the subject of this email.
- Then Paypal $45 for your ticket. Paypal address is the same as the registration address: WIA@swoonstylehome.com. (No Paypal account? If you want to pay via check, just mention that in registration email and they’ll handle that with you)
- You will receive a receipt by email with your ticket number within 24 hours (please note: receipts are not automatic responses).
- Save the confirmation email and your ticket number and bring the print out (or your ticket number) with you the night of the event!
Where To Stay for Wear it Again? Why, the Holiday Inn – Fort Washington, of course! We’ve blocked off a bundle of rooms for the event, and the rate is very reasonable. Plus the hotel is so super easy to get to! It’s right off of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Fort Washington exit) and is walking distance to the Lansdale-Doylestown SEPTA line with direct service to Center City.
