Local Chapters
NMAC has four local chapters that serve areas of Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties in southeastern Pennsylvania. Each chapter holds monthly meetings for breastfeeding mothers to attend (expecting mothers, dads, partners and other children are always welcome, too!). The dates and topics vary each month, so click on the chapter that is closest to you to see what they have coming up. Regardless of where you live, you are always welcome at any of the chapter meetings. Trained counselors from each chapter offer telephone support to breastfeeding moms. If you live in one of the areas that we cover and would like a breastfeeding counselor assigned to you, please contact us.
All chapters maintain a lending library filled with books, videos or reprints on a wide range of topics. Some of those topics include: breastfeeding, child development, health and pregnancy and mothering. You may sign out any of these resources at each chapter’s monthly meetings.
