Training Class
Join Us! Become a counseling volunteer and offer guidance and encouragement to other breastfeeding moms in the Philadelphia area. Our fall 2012 training class will begin in mid-September and run through mid-November and does involve a fee. It is a 9 week couse with 5 in person classes. Classes meet in the Willowood Building at Abington Memorial Hospital Medical Center complex on Maryland Road in Willow Grove.
The NMAC counselor training course is designed to prepare students to counsel with one of our four local NMAC chapters. NMAC counselors must have breastfed for 6 months or more to take the course. Non-NMAC breastfeeding counselors as well as medical professionals are welcome to take our course for an additional fee. Please click below for more information and for our registration forms.
